Ali Gordon is presently resident artist for Sydney Opera House’s House Swap program. She has extensive experience consulting, developing and delivering learning programs with Sydney’s major cultural institutions including Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory, Australian National Maritime Museum, Australian Museum, Sydney Opera House and Historic Houses Trust. She specialises in performance interventions, science communication and video conferencing for young audiences.
Ali has taught Drama up to HSC level at Scotch College, South Australia and Wilderness School, South Australia with students receiving outstanding performance and written exam results. She has taught acting and stagecraft to young people of all ages and directed a multitude of student productions. Ali also specialises in teaching European style clowning and Therapeutic Clowning in healthcare contexts.
